Telemetry Technician (36 hrs/day/flex)(Fox Chase Cancer Center) Temple University Health System - 3.8 Philadelphia, PA Job Details Full-time 1 day ago Qualifications Telemetry Cardiac rhythm analysis High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Observes patient's rhythms on telemetry monitors, continually assesses patient's baseline rhythm and communicates any changes according to department procedures. Maintains inventory of telemetry and cardiac monitoring supplies, tracks telemetry transmitters, assesses and reports any system malfunctions or equipment breakdowns. Submits telemetry charges and submits all appropriate records as assigned. Education High School Diploma or Equivalent Required Other Completed course work in medical terminology Preferred Trade School EKG Technician program Preferred Experience General Experience in a role requiring competency in cardiac rhythm interpretation Required General Experience working in a hospital environment and handling patients, or related healthcare position Preferred Licenses
