Responsibilities Job Summary:

Assists with patient care based on individual patient needs within the scope of practice under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse. Meets the communication needs of the patient/family, departmental staff and medical staff. Prepares and compiles records on the nursing unit. Initiates directions from physicians and nursing staff. Participates in performance improvement activities. Qualifications Qualifications:
  • EMT, C.N.A. or ER tech preferred.
  • De-escalation training (obtained CPI within six months of employment) in required specialty
  • Current BLS required or obtained upon hire.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
