Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Vascular Ultrasound Technician to join our dynamic cardiovascular team. In this vital role, you will perform advanced vascular ultrasound imaging procedures to assist in diagnosing and evaluating vascular conditions. Your expertise will contribute to comprehensive patient assessments, ensuring accurate diagnostics and optimal patient care. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your technical skills and medical knowledge make a real difference in patients' lives. Duties Perform high-quality vascular ultrasound imaging. Assist with cardiac diagnostics such as echocardiography, cardiac stress tests, and cardiac rhythm analysis to support cardiology teams. Operate and maintain sophisticated medical equipment, including Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS) for image storage and retrieval. Collaborate with physicians and interventional radiology teams during procedures. Monitor vital signs, ensure aseptic technique, and adhere to safety protocols during all procedures. Analyze images for quality and accuracy, prepare detailed reports, and communicate findings clearly to management. Maintain detailed documentation of procedures, patient information, and equipment logs in compliance with hospital policies. Requirements Proven experience in vascular ultrasound imaging with proficiency in diagnostic evaluation techniques. Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. Ability to operate advanced medical equipment safely while maintaining aseptic technique. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and explaining procedures to patients. Certification as a Vascular Technologist or equivalent is highly desirable.
