Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Perform organ, vascular ultrasounds and echocardiogram scans on patients as requested by physicians
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures
- Review and analyze images to ensure quality and accuracy
- Collaborate with healthcare team to provide diagnostic information
- Maintain patient records and documentation
Requirements:
- Certification or registration as an Ultrasonographer
- Knowledge of ultrasound techniques and procedures
- Familiarity with medical terminology and anatomy
- Ability to operate ultrasound equipment effectively
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in image interpretation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Please note that this position may require working in an emergency room (ER) setting.
