As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer on the team, you will be responsible for greeting patients and explaining the full procedure to them, answering questions they may have about what to expect, and performing routine screenings and ultrasounds. You will also use your best judgment to interpret results and accurately differentiate between normal and abnormal findings, consult with colleagues as needed, and deliver the results to the patient in a kind, informative way. The ideal candidate has the necessary licensing, is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and has excellent communication skills. Responsibilities Greet patients and direct them to the Ultrasound room Answer questions and explain the procedure in a kind, compassionate, and thorough way Perform Ultrasounds for patients as ordered by the provider Maintain excellent patient records Qualifications License and appropriate clinical experience to perform this role Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail The ability to work well by yourself and within a team environment
