Eligibility for benefits may vary by location and is determined by employment status Job Summary Position Summary Performs cardiac diagnostic procedures including Echocardiograms, Trans-Esophageal Echo and Stress Echos. Ensures high quality test are performed and reports are properly forwarded into Physician reading station and charges are done on a daily basis. Responsible for the clinical oversight for the echo exam quality, MD reporting process and PI reporting of MD reading data Responsibilities Examines requisition, obtains history, reviews patient chart to verify procedure requested, patient's condition and special instructions for the exam. Ensures adequate clinical history is available to correlate with procedure requested. Proficient in the use of the Radiology Information System. Maintains knowledge in physics, anatomy, techniques, medical terminology and knowledge in aseptic technique Supervises and teaches procedures to students and completes clinical evaluation forms.
