Temporary Assignment Orientation:
40 hours Housing options may be limited; candidates should explore housing independently Responsibilities Perform comprehensive ultrasound exams across age groups from Neonates to Geriatrics, including Obstetric (1st-3rd trimester, fetal anatomy survey, nuchal translucency) and Abdominal (liver, gallbladder, pancreas, spleen, kidneys) studies. Conduct Vascular assessments (carotid, arterial/venous mapping, renal, LE/UE) and Cardiac/echo along with fetal echo as needed. Provide pediatric and neonatal examinations and extend to Breast, Thyroid, Scrotum/soft tissue, and Musculoskeletal imaging; apply Doppler techniques, M-mode, and color flow as appropriate. Perform ultrasound-guided procedures (biopsy/FNA, paracentesis, thoracentesis, cyst aspirations) and support advanced/interventional imaging when required. Document findings in the charting system (Epic preferred) and communicate results to the clinical team; ensure image quality and patient safety; participate in equipment QC and basic troubleshooting. Participate in on-call rotation (couple nights per week and up to 2 weekend calls per schedule) and holiday coverage as required; float within the hospital or to nearby affiliates as needed. Requirements CA license in hand (active) required ARDMS certification and BLS required Minimum 3 years of ultrasound experience Epic charting experience preferred Ability to work in an inpatient medical setting and to float as needed; ability to meet call, holiday, and weekend requirements
