Job Description

Category Imaging - Echo Job Type Contract Contribute your expertise in cardiac imaging as an Echo Tech, performing high-quality echocardiograms to support accurate patient diagnosis and treatment. This contract opportunity focuses on utilizing advanced imaging technologies and upholding the highest standards in patient care within a collaborative healthcare team.
Key Qualifications:
Current certification as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or equivalent Demonstrated experience performing and analyzing echocardiograms, including 2D, Doppler, and M-mode echocardiography In-depth knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology Familiarity with imaging equipment maintenance and troubleshooting Strong communication skills and a compassionate patient approach Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Primary Responsibilities:
Prepare and position patients for echo studies, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the procedure Operate ultrasound equipment to obtain clear, diagnostic-quality images Document findings, maintain accurate patient records, and contribute to report preparation for physician review Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes Adhere to department protocols and industry best practices for infection prevention and patient confidentiality Maintain a clean, orderly work environment and calibrate equipment as needed Stay current with developments in cardiac imaging by participating in continuing education Enjoy a dynamic and rewarding work environment where your technical abilities and patient-focused mindset make a real impact.
