Job Description

Category Imaging - Echo Job Type Contract Enhance patient care using your expertise in echocardiography during a 13-week contract assignment. As an Echo Tech, you will work closely with medical professionals to deliver accurate cardiovascular imaging and support critical diagnostic decisions.
Schedule:
Day shift: 4 shifts per week, each 10 hours Shift start times: 7:00 am or 8:00 am Some on-call days are part of the schedule
Qualifications:
Current BLS certification required ARDMS or CCI credentials required Experience performing echocardiograms and handling advanced ultrasound equipment Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality images for physician interpretation Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine and emergency echocardiography studies as ordered by physicians Operate and maintain ultrasound and imaging equipment, ensuring optimal operation and cleanliness Prepare patients by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring their comfort Analyze imaging results and deliver findings to cardiologists or other referring medical staff Document procedures according to facility standards and maintain accurate patient records Participate in required on-call coverage to meet patient and facility needs
