Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Fertility Ultrasonographer to join our dynamic and supportive team in a part-time capacity, working per diem hours. In this role, you will perform diagnostic ultrasound exams to support fertility assessments and treatments. This position requires flexibility to occasionally work weekends and holidays as needed to support patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality transvaginal and pelvic ultrasound examinations for fertility patients Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure accurate imaging and optimal patient care Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of ultrasound findings Clearly explain procedures to patients and provide compassionate care throughout Ensure adherence to all safety, infection control, and confidentiality protocols Regularly inspect and maintain ultrasound equipment for cleanliness and functionality Foster a respectful and professional environment in all patient and team interactions
Qualifications:
ARDMS certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology (required) Minimum of 2 years' experience in fertility or women's health ultrasound Proficiency in transvaginal and pelvic ultrasound techniques Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team Compassionate demeanor with a strong commitment to patient care Southern California Reproductive Center is an equal opportunity employer and prohibits discrimination or harassment of any kind based on any characteristic protected by federal, state, or local law.
