Women's Care was founded in 1998 by a small group of obstetrics and gynecology physicians in Tampa. Today, our organization has grown to over 100 locations in numerous states by remaining true to its mission of improving the health and lives of our patients every day. The Sonographer performs ultrasound examinations and records the findings. This includes routine ultrasound exams, as well as specialized procedures as directed. Performs nuchal translucency scans per established standards and guidelines. Completes fetal surveys. Performs hysterosonograms, as well as 3D-4D scans. Evaluates the images for their quality, but also interprets what was captured in the image. Documents/updates information in patient's electronic medical record. Represents clinic in a professional manner. Treats all customers, internal and external, in a courteous and cooperative manner. Attends required meetings and participates in team activities and professional development activities. Demonstrates and embodies the Women's Care mission and core values. Compliance with all HIPAA rules, regulations, and guidelines. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Valid
OB/GYN ARDMS
certification. Minimum of 1-2 years of recent OBGYN or MFM experience. Experience with 3D-4D scans. Excellent bedside manner and interpersonal skills. Ability to multi-task in a stressful, deadline-oriented environment. Ability to communicate with coworkers, providers and patients in a courteous and effective manner. Ability to use a computer and enter data in electronic medical record system, eCW a plus. Must be dependable, reliable, and punctual.
