1 Description American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist with 2+ years of pediatric sonography experience for a general ultrasound position at a dedicated children's hospital. Details , Ultrasound department within a pediatric hospital setting Actual schedule: Wednesday 7:00 AM-7:00 PM, Thursday 9:00 AM-5:30 PM, Friday 9:00 AM-5:30 PM, Saturday 7:00 AM-7:00 PM 13-week assignment Requirements Minimum of 2 years of ultrasound experience required Experience at a dedicated pediatric hospital and/or Pediatric Sonography (PS) board certification preferred Completion of at least 1 full travel assignment required ARDMS certification required Current BLS via AHA required High school diploma or equivalent required Experience comparable to a 500+ bed facility required License required if applicable Additional Information Responsibilities include obtaining diagnostic sonographic images for radiologist review, data management, physician order reconciliation, patient transport, and result accountability Produces and evaluates images to assist radiologists with timely interpretation for patient treatment Local candidates accepted at the same rate
