Qualifications Qualifications Required Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS•OB/GYN) Minimum 1 year experience in obstetrical ultrasound Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail Preferred Experience in Maternal-Fetal Medicine or high‑risk obstetrics Fetal echo or Doppler experience (or interest in advanced training) Certifications RDMS (OB/GYN)•Required

This role offers the opportunity to work in a highly specialized outpatient environment caring for a complex, high‑risk obstetrical population while enjoying an exceptional work‑life balance. No nights, weekends, call, or holidays Advanced Maternal-Fetal Medicine imaging Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits Position Summary Under the direction of board‑certified Maternal-Fetal Medicine physicians, the Sonographer II independently performs advanced diagnostic ultrasound examinations to assess maternal and fetal well‑being. This role is essential to timely diagnosis, high‑quality patient care, and multidisciplinary collaboration within a regional referral practice. Key Responsibilities Perform advanced obstetrical and MFM ultrasound exams, including: Detailed fetal anatomy surveys Biophysical profiles (BPP) Fetal growth and Doppler studies Transvaginal cervical length exams First trimester screening and nuchal translucency Fetal echocardiography Assist with invasive procedures (amniocentesis, CVS) as applicable Apply AIUM guidelines while exercising independent clinical judgment Accurately document exams and generate preliminary reports Communicate findings clearly with MFM physicians Provide compassionate, patient‑centered care in a high‑risk setting Collaborate effectively with physicians, sonographers, and clinic staff
