The Echocardiographer will be responsible for performing echocardiograms to assess heart function and assist in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac conditions. Responsibilities
- Conduct echocardiograms using ultrasound equipment to visualize the heart's structure and function
- Assist physicians in interpreting test results and providing preliminary findings
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care
- Stay current on advancements in echocardiography technology and techniques Skills
- Proficiency in cardiology and sonography techniques
- Knowledge of emergency medicine, cardiovascular physiology, and anatomy
- Experience working in a Level I or II Trauma Center is advantageous
- Understanding of cardiology procedures related to cardiac imaging
- Ability to assist in echo stress test procedures
- Proficient in aseptic technique to maintain sterile environments
