Job Description

Category Imaging - Echo Job Type Contract Bring your expertise in echocardiography to a dynamic cardiac imaging team within an advanced medical setting. This role offers meaningful work alongside experienced professionals in a collaborative environment, providing high-quality care to diverse patient populations.
Schedule/Hours:
10-hour day shifts: 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM, 40 hours per week One night on-call shift per week (weekday or weekend, end of shift until 7:00 AM) Modified self-scheduling in 6-week increments No floating required
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years acute care Echo Tech experience Current BLS certification ARDMS credential (RCS or RDCS) Demonstrated experience with pediatric echocardiography (required) Proven skills in supporting adult and pediatric patients, including inpatient and outpatient cases Expertise in a broad range of studies: pre/post cardiac procedures, bubble studies, TEE, stress tests, and more Fetal scan and stress test experience preferred Ability to assist with pericardiocentesis and accurately measure ejection fractions Willingness to orient new hires is desirable First-time travelers welcome if all clinical requirements are met
Key Duties:
Conduct echocardiograms on pediatric and adult patients; support complex structural heart programs Perform preliminary findings and document in modifiable reports for physician review Collaborate with fellow sonographers, cardiologists, and other clinical staff Participate in on-call rotation and respond within 30 minutes if needed Use EPIC EMR and Philips cardiovascular technology Engage in ongoing orientation and training during the first week, including buddy call Wear black scrubs and enjoy complimentary parking Work within a reputable facility offering advanced cardiac, stroke, and trauma care, all while making a difference in patients' lives every day.
