Category Imaging - Echo Job Type Contract Take your imaging career to the next level supporting cardiac care and comprehensive echocardiography in a dynamic environment. This contract opportunity involves a 40-hour week, featuring 10-hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM and a required night on-call shift each week (end of shift until 7:00 AM, on a weekday or weekend as needed). Key Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of acute care echocardiography experience ARDMS-RDCS or RCS certification and current BLS required Confident in pediatric echo exams (hard requirement) Skilled with TEE, inpatient/outpatient studies, bubble studies, pre/post cardiac procedures, and stress testing (fetal echo experience preferred but not mandatory) Proficient in reporting preliminary findings for physician review Previous experience assisting with procedures such as pericardiocentesis and accurate EF measurements Willingness to support and orient new hires is preferred
Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of echo procedures: Peds, adult, inpatient, outpatient, and structural exams Support rapid response/code teams as needed for emergent studies Participate in call rotation (one night per week) Accurately document and submit findings in EPIC EMR and Philips PACS Collaborate with a strong interdisciplinary team: Echo techs, supervisors, cardiologists, and support services
