1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Vascular Sonographer / Ultrasound Technologist for an Angiography/IR setting requiring critical care and Angio/IR experience including stroke and trauma care. Details Works in an Angiography/IR department with 3 labs: 2 dedicated IR labs and 1 hybrid OR Typical team structure consists of 3-4 members per room, including a Lead Tech, RN, ARRT/RTR, and RCIS 1:1 patient ratio Procedures include Permcath, Port Placement, Thrombectomy, Atherectomy, TVAR, TIPS, EVAR, PE, Stroke, and Trauma Equipment used includes IVUS, Shockwave, Angio Jet, and Jet Stream Charting is performed in Epic Cupid Schedule is 4x10-hour shifts with call requirements Requirements Critical care and Angio/IR experience required, including stroke and trauma care ICU or ER experience required Allied candidates must have 6 months of experience within the last 6 months in the role Candidates placed in the HCA Far West - Northern CA Region must have at least 2 years of clinical experience in their area of placement Active ACLS and BLS certifications required (AHA or ARC accepted; certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the start date) Active ARRT or RCIS certification required; license required if applicable SSN and DOB required for consideration — no Canadian SSNs accepted Additional Information Perform interventional radiology procedures including stroke and trauma interventions in a fast-paced angiography suite Techs wear navy blue and black scrubs Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted Florida and Missouri candidates require two professional references; all other states require one No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
