  • Part-time New Beginnings Birth Center & Ultrasound Studio is expanding.
As we add new ultrasound services to better serve families in the Treasure Valley, we are seeking a qualified Sonographer to join our growing clinical team. This role will perform elective (non-diagnostic) keepsake imaging services. We are looking for someone who combines excellence with compassionate, family-centered care. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical ultrasound expertise, excellent client care skills, and a thorough understanding of anatomy and physiology related to obstetrics and gynecology. Responsibilities Perform 2D/3D/4D/HD Live ultrasound elective imaging sessions and gender determination and confirmation. Deliver high-quality images and video packages and create a warm, welcoming family experience. Operate advanced medical imaging equipment (GE Voluson) with precision, ensuring high-quality images for non-diagnostic purposes. Maintain compliance with safety protocols, including infection control practices and radiation safety standards when applicable. Keep detailed records of sessions, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality in accordance with healthcare regulations. Proven experience or training in sonography, with specialization in obstetrics and gynecology. Good knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and healthcare team members. Ability to demonstrate professionalism, attention to detail, and compassion in client care settings. Explain ultrasound procedures and session expectations. Maintain ultrasound equipment and imaging quality standards. Provide printed and digital image packages. Assist with scheduling and client communications as needed. Participate in social media content creation and marketing efforts Maintain a clean, professional, family-friendly environment. Other duties as needed for job role. Qualifications Experience performing obstetric ultrasound imaging. Experience with 3D/4D/HD Live imaging preferred. Strong customer service and communication skills. Friendly, positive, and professional demeanor. Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed. Comfortable interacting with families and children. Prior experience in an elective ultrasound studio.
