Required (Every 4-6 Weeks) About the Role MedOp Solutions is seeking an experienced Cardiac Sonographer (Echo Technologist) for a travel assignment in Glenview, Illinois. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced cardiac imaging professional who is passionate about delivering high-quality diagnostic echocardiography while working within a collaborative cardiovascular team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience performing comprehensive adult echocardiograms and possess the clinical expertise to work independently in a fast-paced hospital environment. Facility Overview Leading regional healthcare system Advanced cardiovascular diagnostic services Collaborative multidisciplinary cardiac care team State-of-the-art cardiac imaging technology Department Information Cardiology / Echocardiography Day shift assignment Cross-campus on-call rotation High-volume diagnostic imaging environment Patient Population Adult cardiac patients Inpatient and outpatient echocardiography Patients with structural heart disease Heart failure patients Pre•and post-procedural cardiac evaluations Emergency and acute cardiovascular assessments Key Responsibilities Perform high-quality transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE) Obtain accurate diagnostic cardiac images according to established protocols Evaluate cardiac anatomy, function, and hemodynamics Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures and explain examinations Collaborate with cardiologists and the cardiovascular care team Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record Ensure quality assurance standards and patient safety protocols are followed Participate in departmental call rotation as assigned Qualifications Minimum 4 years of recent Echo Technologist experience required 5 years of experience preferred Current ARDMS or CCI certification required Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification required Strong knowledge of adult echocardiography protocols Excellent communication, critical thinking, and patient care skills Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical environment Technology & Equipment Advanced Echocardiography imaging systems Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Digital cardiovascular imaging platforms Orientation Orientation provided (length to be determined by facility)
Scheduling & Expectations Day Shift:
