Job Description

Lafayette 3920 Building 3920 St Francis Way Lafayette, Indiana 47905 The Maternal Fetal Medicine Ultrasound Technologist performs technical procedures to determine various diagnoses using ultrasound equipment to visualize portions of the human body for diagnostic purposes for obstetrical and gynecologic physicians to interpret. They adjust ultrasound equipment, process images, and update patient records to ensure accurate diagnoses and treatment. They work with various populations of patients, including geriatric, adult, adolescent, child, infant and newborn ages and assists with some high-risk patient situations.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT SIGN ON BONUS AVAILABLE
(Ask Talent Acquisition Advisor if eligible for Sign-on Bonus) Monday-Friday 8a-5p Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures. Practice effective team functioning. Provide education to patients and students. Maintain records, respect confidentiality and integrate PI process. Responsible for Environment and Equipment. Observe Universal Precautions and Infection Control and Safety. Assist with the orientation of new staff.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Certificate Ultrasound Technology Required Associate's in Radiology or Ultrasound Required 2 years in Obstetrics and Gynecology or Maternal Fetal sonography Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association Registered Ultrasonographer (ARDMS) - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography Maternal Fetal Medicine Certification
