Short Term Acute Care Hospital. Primary duties include performing cardiac ultrasound studies with established equipment, observing patient safety, and documenting results in EPIC.

Shift:
5x8 days (Mon-Fri; 8-hour days) Start date: 05/31/2026 Work setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital Responsibilities Perform resting and stress echocardiograms (TTE) and support transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) as outlined by protocol. Operate GE Vivid E95 for resting/stress studies and Philips CVX for TEEs; optimize image quality and study completeness. Administer ultrasound contrast agents (UEA) and IV contrast training as applicable; monitor patient response and safety. Prepare, label, and process ultrasound study data; ensure complete and accurate documentation in the
EPIC EMR.
Maintain appropriate infection control, equipment care, and room turnover; collaborate with cardiology and imaging teams. Attend required orientations and adhere to site-specific policies during the initial week and subsequent assignments.
Requirements Licenses/Certifications:
RCS-CCI or
RDCS-ARDMS
; BLS required.
Experience:
Minimum 4 years of cardiac ultrasound clinical experience; at least 4,000 echocardiograms performed.
Education:
Graduate of an accredited program in cardiac ultrasound/echocardiography or a Health Science program with relevant cardiovascular technology training.
Other:
Ability to work 8-hour days, Monday-Friday; clear communication and competency in
EPIC EMR
; must be eligible for travel assignments; successful completion of required orientations.
