Schedule/Hours:
Travel position; hours and shifts vary based on departmental need Rotational assignments within the main department and off-site clinics
Responsibilities:
Perform general ultrasound exams, including Abdomen, OB/GYN, Pediatrics, Basic Vascular, and small parts imaging May conduct interventional ultrasound procedures Prepare patients, ensuring two-point identification and thorough clinical history review Deliver compassionate care, upholding patient confidentiality Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment, reporting malfunctions as needed Rotate across various department settings to maintain optimal coverage Communicate effectively with colleagues and other departments Manage PACS, RIS, and other reporting for each patient Maintain well-stocked exam rooms and keep department areas orderly Stay current on imaging trends and participate in continuing education Safely assist with transporting and transferring patients Employ independent judgment under pressure during examinations Additional duties as assigned
Desired Qualifications:
Graduation from an AMA-accredited Ultrasound Program At least 12 months of full-time clinical ultrasound experience ARDMS certification (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) MFM department experience is required
