Sonographer - PRN Summary
JOB SUMMARY
Join our imaging team as a Sonographer , where you will perform high-quality ultrasound procedures in a collaborative and patient-focused environment. In this role, you will independently perform ultrasound exams while delivering compassionate care and supporting exceptional patient outcomes. Unified by the core purpose of creating a healthier community one person at a time , our team is committed to excellence, teamwork, and providing the highest level of service to our patients and families.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform ultrasound procedures using prescribed techniques and established protocols Deliver excellent customer service and compassionate patient care throughout the imaging experience Build strong relationships with patients, families, coworkers, and the community through teamwork and collaboration Demonstrate empathy and respond appropriately to patient and customer concerns Anticipate and address patient needs in a caring, timely, and professional manner Prepare and position patients while prioritizing comfort, dignity, and safety Maintain accurate documentation and comply with departmental, regulatory, and safety standards Support smooth department operations and promote a positive team environment Ensure patient, coworker, and personal safety during all procedures and daily operations
REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or GED required Graduate of an accredited and certified Ultrasound program required 1-3 years of sonography or ultrasound experience required Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Registered Diagnostic Sonographer credential required ( ARDMS) within one year from date of hire
