Category Imaging - Echo Job Type Contract Step into a vital role providing advanced patient care services within a dynamic healthcare environment. This position specializes in Echo imaging, requiring both technical proficiency and compassionate patient interaction as part of a knowledgeable and supportive team.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality echocardiograms, adhering to established protocols and safety procedures Prepare patients for procedures while explaining the process and addressing concerns to ensure comfort and understanding Operate imaging equipment and adjust settings to obtain optimal diagnostic results Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to review findings and support patient care decisions Maintain accurate documentation within patient records and comply with confidentiality standards Manage equipment upkeep, routine calibration, and troubleshooting
Schedule/Hours:
Contract assignment Flexible shifts may be available; specifics will be discussed during the selection process
Desired Qualifications:
Current registration or certification as an Echo Technician (RDCS, RCS, or equivalent) Minimum of one year experience in echocardiography or a comparable clinical setting Demonstrated expertise in imaging techniques and cardiac anatomy Exceptional communication skills with a strong commitment to patient-centered care Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems preferred

The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
