Key Responsibilities:
Perform and record echocardiograms, ensuring accuracy and clarity of images for physician interpretation Collaborate with cardiology and nursing teams to provide comprehensive patient assessments Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment to guarantee optimal functionality Explain procedures to patients and address questions or concerns with professionalism and empathy Document findings and manage patient records according to facility protocols Uphold stringent safety and quality standards within the imaging department
Schedule/Hours:
Full-time, contract position Flexible scheduling may be available, depending on department needs
Qualifications:
Current certification as an Echocardiography Technologist (Echo Tech) Credentialed in cardiac sonography (RDCS or RCS preferred) Experience operating advanced echocardiography technology Outstanding communication skills and a patient-focused approach Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced medical environment
