Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM)
Sonographer Location:
St. Paul, MN 55107 (Primary site, with optional flexibility for Woodbury and Coon Rapids)
Position Type:
16-Week Contract, Monday - Friday (No On-Call)
Salary:
$3,055 - $3,255 / week (depending on experience)

6/22 About the Role Are you an experienced MFM Sonographer looking for a predictable daytime schedule, a highly competitive weekly rate, and a meaningful role focusing on high-risk obstetric care? We are seeking a skilled Maternal-Fetal Medicine Sonographer to join our premier clinical network in the Twin Cities area, with our primary and busiest site located in St. Paul, MN. In this role, you will work closely with perinatologists and advanced specialists, providing critical diagnostic imaging that directly impacts patient care plans for high-risk pregnancies. Key Responsibilities Advanced High-Risk Imaging:
Perform detailed, specialized OB/GYN and MFM ultrasound examinations utilizing advanced Phillips equipment.
Specialized Scans:
Conduct high-quality scans including Nuchal Translucency (NT), Biophysical Profiles (BPP), Level 2 detailed anatomy scans, fetal echocardiograms, and comprehensive first and second-trimester scans.
Clinical Collaboration:
Work hand-in-hand with MFM specialists and perinatologists to ensure precise diagnostic reporting and optimal patient management.
Patient Care:
Maintain a strong focus on patient comfort, clear communication, and high clinical standards during complex imaging appointments.
Schedule & Work Environment Setting:
Outpatient Clinic Hours:
Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00
PM Work-Life Balance:
Zero on-call requirements and no weekends!
Patient Volume:
A highly manageable pace of 7-8 scans per shift , varying depending on case complexity to ensure you can focus on quality.
Location Flexibility:
The main site is in St. Paul. Ideally, you are open to supporting our Woodbury and Coon Rapids sites if needed, but a lack of rotation is not a dealbreaker.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
Experience:
Must have dedicated, direct experience working in a Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) setting. (Please note: Pediatric echocardiography experience does not substitute for MFM experience).
Certifications:
Credentialed by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers ( ARDMS ) in OB/GYN (RDMS with strong MFM experience will be considered).
Specialized Training:
Must hold NT and fetal echocardiogram (fetal cardiac echo) certification and/or equivalent documented training.
Basic Life Support:
Current BLS certification from the AHA or ARC. What We Offer Highly competitive weekly compensation ($3,055 - $3,255/week depending on experience).
