An Ultrasound Technologist or Sonographer uses ultrasound technology to examine the inside of patients' bodies and diagnose medical conditions. Works closely with other healthcare specialists who assess and treat relevant conditions. Works in hospitals or other healthcare facilities.
Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is hiring a Sonographer for our Radiology Department in Bolivar, Missouri - someone who leads with skill, compassion, and a drive to positively impact every patient and family we serve.

What Your Day Looks Like:
You will be supporting our diagnostic services team during off-hours, ensuring timely and accurate imaging for our patients who are not only local, but also those who specifically drive from surrounding areas to see us. As a Sonographer, you will be: Interviewing patients to gather medical history Explaining the ultrasound process Performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations including abdominal, OBGyn, small parts, and vascular studies Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely results Providing patient-centered care with a focus on comfort, privacy, and clear communication Following infection control procedures and adhering to all regulatory standards
Qualifications:
Education:
Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program - ARDMS certification (Abdomen, OBGYN, and RVT)
Experience:
1 year of clinical ultrasound experience preferred; new graduates with strong clinical training will be considered
Skills:
Patient care, attention to detail, teamwork, communication
