CoxHealth Job Description:
The advanced imaging student assists and performs imaging/procedures in the advanced clinical area under the guidance of the physicians and registered advanced imaging staff. Imaging/procedures performed are consistent with the established standard of medical care in radiology, following established policies and protocols to produce optimum images, while keeping patient welfare, confidentiality, and comfort a top priority.
Education:
Required:
Completed or currently enrolled in an ARRT or ARDMS approved advanced imaging training program.
Experience:
Preferred:
One year of prior health care experience
Skills:
Strong analytical/problem solving skills. Knowledge of current diagnostic radiology technical information. Proficient in using computers and computer systems. Excellent time management, interpersonal, presentation, organization, prioritizing, decision-making, and planning skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to work independently and collaboratively in teams.
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
Required:
One of the following ARRT or ARDMS registries within 6 months of hire or program completion, whichever is last:
- ARRT (MR)
- ARRT (NM)
- ARDMS (ABD), (OB), (RVT), (AE/PE), (MSKS), or (BR)
