Job Description

Category Imaging - Ultrasound Vascular Job Type Contract Step into an essential imaging role specializing in vascular ultrasound, where your skills will directly impact patient care. This contract opportunity is designed for an experienced Vascular Sonographer to excel in a dynamic healthcare setting. Contribute your expertise to a collaborative team and play a vital part in accurate vascular diagnosis and patient outcomes. The assignment spans 8 weeks, providing professional growth and rewarding challenges.
Schedule and Hours:
8-week contract 40 hours guaranteed per week 5x8s, day shift Staggered start times between 7:00 am and 8:30 am Rotating call: 1 night per week, 1 weekend per month
Qualifications:
Current ARDMS certification required Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Active Mississippi state license for sonography Proficient in vascular ultrasound imaging techniques Strong communication skills for patient interaction and team collaboration Experience with sonography equipment and image analysis Detail-oriented with a commitment to high quality patient care
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine and complex vascular ultrasound studies following strict protocol Operate imaging equipment and ensure accurate data collection for diagnostic purposes Prepare patients and explain procedures to maintain comfort and cooperation Review and analyze ultrasound images, collaborating closely with physicians on interpretation Ensure documentation is timely and accurate within patient records Participate in on-call rotations as assigned
