Job Description

Category Imaging - Ultrasound General Job Type Contract A healthcare facility seeks a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to support the imaging team for a 13-week contract. The professional in this role will provide patient-centered ultrasound exams and collaborate with clinicians to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging.
Schedule:
4 shifts of 10 hours each week First shift Some weekdays and every other weekend required
Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited ultrasound technology program Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification preferred Previous experience in general ultrasound imaging Strong knowledge of sonographic techniques, anatomy, and pathology Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach with patients BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, or willingness to obtain upon hire
Responsibilities:
Perform general ultrasound exams in accordance with physician orders and established protocols Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal image quality and patient safety Analyze images, recognize abnormalities, and assist radiologists with interpretations as needed Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and privacy Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation Adhere to infection control and safety procedures throughout all processes This opportunity offers a focused assignment in a collaborative environment, supporting both patient care and ongoing professional development.
