Job Description

Category Imaging - Ultrasound General Job Type Contract Advance your healthcare career in a dynamic environment, delivering high-quality imaging services as an Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer. This 13-week contract role supports patient care through expert operation of ultrasound equipment, contributing to precise diagnoses and positive outcomes.
Schedule:
4 shifts per week, 10 hours each 1st shift coverage Some weekday shifts and every other weekend required
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated expertise in general ultrasound imaging Previous experience functioning as an Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer in a hospital or clinical setting ARDMS or equivalent certification (active and in good standing) Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with physicians, nurses, and patients Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Key Responsibilities:
Perform a broad range of general ultrasound procedures while ensuring patient comfort and safety Accurately interpret physician instructions and prepare imaging equipment for each study Maintain detailed patient records and clear documentation of findings Adhere to all health and safety regulations, infection control policies, and departmental protocols Collaborate with medical staff to optimize workflow and support quality patient outcomes Participate in regular equipment maintenance and report any issues promptly This opportunity provides a supportive clinical setting where your skills make a meaningful impact on patient care.
