Job Description

Category Imaging - Ultrasound General Job Type Contract Advance your career as an experienced Ultrasound Technologist in a well-equipped healthcare setting. This opportunity focuses on providing high-quality diagnostic imaging to support patient care across a 13-week contract. You'll use your expertise in general ultrasound to deliver precise, compassionate service to patients during weekdays and every other weekend.
Schedule:
13-week assignment 4 x 10-hour shifts per week 1st shift hours Some weekdays and every other weekend required
Qualifications:
Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or equivalent certification is required Proven experience performing general ultrasound studies in a clinical or hospital environment Proficient in operating ultrasound equipment and familiar with digital imaging systems Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing excellent patient care Ability to communicate effectively with medical staff, patients, and families Flexibility to work a rotating schedule including alternating weekends
Key Responsibilities:
Perform general ultrasound examinations as ordered by physicians or providers Ensure high image quality by selecting the appropriate equipment settings and techniques Prepare and position patients for optimal imaging, ensuring comfort and safety Accurately document procedures, maintain patient records, and communicate findings as needed Adhere to all infection control and patient privacy protocols Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary care team to support patient outcomes
