Job Description

Category Imaging - Ultrasound General Job Type Contract Step into a key diagnostic role that advances patient care with expertise in general ultrasound imaging. This contract opportunity offers a 13-week assignment, ensuring both professional impact and schedule predictability.
Schedule:
4 shifts per week, each 10 hours (4 x 10) 1st shift hours Includes some weekdays and every other weekend
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
Proficient in general ultrasound imaging Registered or registry-eligible as an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer (ARDMS or equivalent) Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality images and adapt to a fast-paced clinical environment Excellent communication skills and a patient-focused mindset Experience in hospital or large outpatient settings preferred Current BLS certification
Core Responsibilities:
Capture diagnostic ultrasound images for patients across diverse departments Assist physicians in reviewing images and discussing clinical findings Provide compassionate, knowledgeable care and instruction to patients Maintain safety standards, quality control, and accurate patient records Collaborate closely with nurses, physicians, and radiology staff Manage exam room preparation, equipment checks, and post-procedural clean-up Engage in routine equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
