Key Qualifications:

Proficient in general ultrasound imaging procedures Experience assisting with invasive diagnostic techniques: needle biopsies, guided wire placements, aspirations Skilled at evaluating patient contraindications and communicating findings to physicians Strong competence in Doppler imaging and analysis of sonographic results Ability to advise and train residents in diagnostic techniques

Core Responsibilities:

Support radiologists during invasive diagnostic procedures Train and standardize procedures for resident physicians Evaluate patients' ability to undergo scheduled procedures Conduct ultrasound exams under general or direct supervision as required Identify and differentiate between normal and abnormal anatomy or blood flow Analyze and compile comprehensive sonography findings for physician interpretation Advise radiologists or referring providers about exam outcomes and relevant observations
