Category Imaging - Ultrasound Vascular Job Type Contract Deliver advanced patient care and make a difference through your expertise in ultrasound imaging. This contract opportunity calls for a skilled professional experienced in both vascular ultrasound and general sonography techniques, ensuring clinical teams have accurate diagnostic information for optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality vascular and general ultrasound examinations, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and safety standards Collaborate closely with physicians and healthcare providers to interpret imaging results and support diagnoses Maintain equipment, supplies, and documentation in accordance with facility policies and regulatory standards Accurately record patient histories and clearly explain procedures for patient comfort and cooperation Ensure timely completion, data integrity, and confidentiality of all imaging studies Contribute to a positive and efficient work environment within the imaging department
Desired Qualifications:
Current certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) and/or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) preferred Proven experience with ultrasound equipment, focusing on vascular sonography and general diagnostic procedures Strong interpersonal communication skills to interact effectively with patients, physicians, and colleagues Demonstrated organizational skills with attention to accuracy and patient safety Familiarity with current best practices in sonography, including regulatory, privacy, and infection control guidelines Take this chance to showcase your imaging expertise while supporting quality patient care in a collaborative healthcare environment.
