1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist with RVT certification and at least 1 year of experience to perform vascular studies on patients with peripheral vascular disease. Details Specialty clinic setting focused on vascular ultrasound Patient population primarily includes those with peripheral vascular disease Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM No weekend shifts required No on-call requirements Charting system experience required (any EMR) Requirements Minimum of 1 year of experience required RVT certification required One RDMS registry (Abdomen or OB/GYN) is sufficient in addition to RVT BLS certification required CCI RVS certification required License required if applicable Community hospital experience preferred Proficiency with GE, Philips, Siemens, and SonoSite ultrasound equipment Experience with PACS systems Skilled in vascular studies including aorta, arterial graft studies, arterial mapping, carotid, color flow, dialysis grafts, Doppler studies, duplex, lower extremity arterial and venous studies, and stent evaluation Additional Information Perform comprehensive vascular ultrasound studies for patients with peripheral vascular disease First-time travelers will be considered for this position Local candidates accepted Candidates residing within 75 miles are considered local and subject to a reduced rate Blue or royal blue scrubs required Orientation occurs on a bi-weekly basis
