Job Description

Category Imaging - Ultrasound General Job Type Contract Deliver exceptional care and technical expertise as a skilled Ultrasound Technologist on a night shift assignment. This role focuses on providing high-quality ED general ultrasound services, supporting a dynamic, newly opened facility equipped with the latest technology and a team-first approach. The department averages 45 emergency visits and 5 imaging studies per day, ensuring varied and meaningful patient interactions.
Schedule:
12-hour night shifts: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (Friday/Saturday/Sunday) Work every weekend On-call 2 nights per month, with flexibility to select your preferred nights Expected to work 75% of holidays No floating requirements
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years' experience in ultrasound/sonography, preferably in an emergency setting Certified by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or ARRT (S) Valid BLS certification Comfortable with general ED ultrasound imaging and willingness to perform: Basic vital signs Patient sitting (psych support) EKGs (training provided) Team player willing to assist with transporting patients or helping other modalities when radiology volume allows Prior experience with EPIC EMR and Philips iSite PACS preferred Must have a permanent address at least 50 miles away from the unit
