Category Imaging - Ultrasound Vascular Job Type Contract Step into a pivotal clinical role specializing in Vascular Ultrasound. This contract position is suited for a dedicated Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer with proven expertise in imaging and a strong understanding of vascular diagnostics.
Qualifications and Experience:
Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or equivalent credential, with vascular specialty preferred In-depth experience performing vascular ultrasound studies (arterial, venous, carotid, and related examinations) Proficiency with various ultrasound equipment and image archiving systems Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, ultrasound physics, and clinical protocols Excellent communication skills and attention to patient care and safety Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required Previous experience in a hospital or high-volume outpatient imaging setting is highly valuedSchedule:

Perform high-quality vascular ultrasound procedures as ordered by clinicians Collaborate with physicians and clinical teams to ensure accurate diagnostic results and share technical findings Prepare patients for exams, explain procedures, and ensure comfort and privacy Adjust and operate ultrasound equipment, selecting appropriate settings for each study Analyze images for diagnostic clarity and archive results according to facility protocols Adhere strictly to infection control, safety, and patient privacy regulations Keep accurate patient records and maintain exam room cleanliness and supply readiness This position offers the opportunity to work within a supportive and professional clinical environment, utilizing advanced imaging technology and contributing to patient diagnostic outcomes.
