Job Description

Category Imaging - Ultrasound General Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding opportunity specializing in general ultrasound imaging as an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer. This contract position offers the chance to work in a dynamic healthcare environment alongside a dedicated team of professionals.
Schedule and Assignment Details:
20-week assignment 4x10 schedule: Monday through
Thursday Hours:
7:00 AM - 5:00 PM Participation in call rotation required
Qualifications:
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) credentials Proven expertise in general ultrasound imaging within a clinical setting Strong communication skills and attention to detail Ability to work effectively both independently and as a collaborative member of the imaging team Flexibility to respond to call rotation
Key Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality general ultrasound examinations according to physician orders and facility protocols Prepare and position patients, ensuring comfort and proper imaging techniques Operate and maintain ultrasound and related equipment, ensuring safety standards are met Accurately document findings, maintain patient records, and report results to interpreting physicians Uphold infection prevention practices and regulatory compliance Provide compassionate patient care, answering questions and addressing concerns with professionalism
