Job Description

Category Imaging - Ultrasound General Job Type Contract Seeking a skilled ultrasound technologist to fill a contract position specializing in general ultrasound imaging. This opportunity offers a 20-week assignment with a structured routine, ideal for a professional dedicated to diagnostic excellence and patient care.
Schedule:
20-week contract 4x10 hour shifts: Monday through Thursday 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM Call rotation required
Qualifications:
Certification with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Proven background with general ultrasound procedures and protocols Experience operating ultrasound equipment and collaborating within a multidisciplinary team Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to remain composed in an active clinical environment
Responsibilities:
Conduct a range of diagnostic general ultrasound procedures, ensuring images meet clinical quality standards Collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers to review and interpret scanned images Prepare and maintain accurate patient records, including documentation of procedures and findings Ensure equipment is operated and maintained according to protocols, reporting any technical issues promptly Support patients by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring comfort throughout the process Participate in the required call rotation, maintaining readiness to respond to urgent or emergent cases as scheduled This position provides an excellent opportunity to advance ultrasound skills within a collaborative and supportive healthcare environment.
