Job Description

Category Imaging - Ultrasound General Job Type Contract Seeking a skilled and motivated Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer to contribute expertise in a supportive healthcare environment on a 20-week assignment. This rewarding role is ideal for professionals eager to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care.
Schedule:
4x10-hour shifts, Monday through Thursday 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM Participation in call rotation is required
Qualifications:
Current certification by ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification Experience performing ultrasound studies across general imaging protocols; proficiency with abdominal and small parts assessments preferred Strong patient communication and interpersonal skills Proven ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced clinical setting
Responsibilities:
Conduct a variety of diagnostic ultrasound procedures with accuracy and attention to detail Prepare patients and explain examination procedures to ensure comfort and cooperation Properly maintain ultrasound equipment and ensure work areas meet all safety and cleanliness standards Accurately document and communicate findings to physicians and relevant clinical personnel Support a collaborative team approach by assisting colleagues and participating in call rotation as needed Contribute your expertise in a dynamic contract position and play a vital role in delivering exceptional diagnostic services.
