Registered Ultrasound Technologist Per Diem New Brunswick, NJ, United States | req7124 Posted on: 5/11/2026 Back to Search Registered Ultrasound Technologist Per Diem Ultrasound The Registered Ultrasound Technologist Per Diem will: Perform ultrasound procedures following the SPUH ultrasound scanning protocol appropriate to the ages of the patients. Prepare patient for ultrasound procedure- this includes proper clothing, educating patient and family - if pediatric patient ease fears. Assist Radiologist to obtain a diagnosis. Determine when a patient should be held until their physician is contacted with results of the procedure. Accurately record a complete technologist 'note' to include all pertinent information concerning the exam/procedure.

Requirements:

Graduate from approved school of medical ultrasound technology. RDMS required. Requires communication skills sufficient for effective communication with patients, physicians and staff. BLS Certification required, as approved by the American Heart Association.

Salary Range:
