Job Description

Category Imaging - Echo Job Type Contract Deliver high-quality cardiac imaging in a dynamic, patient-focused environment. This contract opportunity calls for an experienced professional to perform a wide range of echocardiographic procedures in alignment with regulatory standards.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Rotational weekends On-call coverage required (both weekdays and weekends)
Qualifications:
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Registered through ARDMS or CCI Proficient with EPIC electronic medical record system Thorough understanding of digital ultrasound equipment Demonstrated ability to perform cardiac ultrasound procedures— including stress echocardiograms and transesophageal echocardiograms—exactly as outlined by the American Society of Echocardiography and ICAEL standards Strong capability to prepare patients, explain procedures clearly, and ensure their comfort throughout
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct all necessary cardiac ultrasound tests, ensuring accurate imaging and adherence to established guidelines Complete scheduled testing efficiently, managing workflow to accommodate various population groups as needed Maintain clear documentation and efficient workflow within the electronic medical record system Educate and support patients by providing thorough explanations of procedures and next steps Operate and maintain sophisticated ultrasound equipment, troubleshooting and escalating issues as appropriate
