The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound examinations to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This role requires a deep understanding of medical imaging techniques, including sonography, and the ability to work collaboratively within a hospital environment. The Ultrasonographer will play a crucial role in patient care by providing accurate imaging results and ensuring patient comfort during procedures. Duties Conduct ultrasound examinations on patients, ensuring high-quality imaging standards. Collaborate with physicians to determine appropriate imaging techniques based on patient needs. Maintain accurate records of patient examinations and findings in compliance with medical protocols. Utilize knowledge of diagnostic radiology, medical terminology, and physiology to interpret ultrasound images effectively. Assist in the preparation of patients for procedures, ensuring they understand the process and feel comfortable. Stay updated on advancements in medical imaging technology, including
MRI, PET
scans, and mammography. Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and calibrated for optimal performance. Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures within the hospital setting. Experience Proven experience as an Ultrasonographer preferred. Strong knowledge of diagnostic radiology techniques and medical imaging systems. Familiarity with various ultrasound modalities, including but not limited to sonography and mammography. Understanding of medical terminology and physiology relevant to imaging practices. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
