Job Description

Diagnostic Medical Sonographer•Maternal-Fetal Medicine Join our team and help us provide exceptional care to mothers and babies in the Las Vegas community. We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Sonographer to join our Maternal-Fetal Medicine team. In this role, you will provide high-level clinical support to our patients during high-risk pregnancies, collaborating closely with our physicians and multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Las Vegas, NV (Rotation between all practice locations required)
Job Type:
Full-time, In-office Schedule:
Monday•Friday, 8:00 AM•5:00
PM Salary:
$40.00•$60.00 per hour (commensurate with experience) Key Responsibilities •
High-Risk OB Diagnostic Imaging:
Independently perform high-quality diagnostic sonograms, adapting procedures as needed to evaluate complex anatomical and pathological findings while prioritizing patient safety and comfort. •
Clinical Synthesis & Physician Liaison:
Analyze scans against patient medical history to identify normal vs. pathological findings and communicate clear preliminary results directly to attending physicians. •
Operations & Accreditation Support:
I would update this to: Complete exam billing forms, coordinate scheduling with manager for optimal coverage, maintain work areas, and support ongoing AIUM accreditation standards. •
Equipment Care & Troubleshooting:
Oversee ultrasound equipment upkeep/cleanliness, ensure adequate supply levels, and promptly report mechanical or technical issues for repair.
Qualifications & Requirements Education:
Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program (or eligible for Registry licensure).
Certifications:
Active ARDMS (OB/GYN) required. Fetal Echocardiography certification required within 18 months of employment. Nuchal Translucency certification with the Fetal Medicine Foundation (FMF) required within 18 months of employment.
Experience:
Minimum of 1 year of OB/GYN sonography experience required. Maternal-Fetal Medicine experience preferred.
CME:
Active compliance with Continuing Medical Education requirements.
Core Competencies:
Must possess strong clinical skills, excellent bedside manner, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Capabilities:
Ability to walk, bend, stretch, and stand for long periods, assist patients, lift/push ultrasound equipment (up to 50 lbs), and hold prolonged scanning positions.
Attributes:
Must be mature, responsible, empathetic, and possess the emotional stability to manage high-risk medical scenarios and emergencies.
Collaborative Mindset:
Ability to build strong working relationships across the practice to foster exceptional teamwork, manifest a proactive, positive attitude, and possess a high capacity to learn and adapt to evolving workflows.
Travel:
