Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Ultrasound Technologist to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging across diverse healthcare facilities nationwide. In this role, you will perform a variety of ultrasound exams, ensure accurate image acquisition, and collaborate with physicians to support patient diagnoses. You'll adapt quickly to new clinical environments, uphold strict safety and privacy standards, and maintain detailed documentation. Responsibilities Perform and analyze diagnostic ultrasound exams following physician orders Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring image quality and patient safety Prepare patients by explaining procedures and positioning them appropriately Document findings and collaborate with physicians and care teams on diagnoses Travel to various healthcare facilities and adapt to different clinical settings Maintain accurate records and comply with all regulatory and facility protocols Follow infection control and patient privacy standards (HIPAA) Participate in ongoing training and professional development Required Skills Diagnostic medical sonography Abdominal ultrasound Obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound Vascular ultrasound Echocardiography basics or specialty modality (if applicable) Ultrasound equipment operation and troubleshooting PACS and EMR/EHR documentation Patient positioning and care Anatomy and physiology knowledge Infection control and safety protocols
