Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as an Ultrasound Technologist, where you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services. This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your expertise in medical imaging and anatomy to assist in patient diagnosis and care. You will work closely with obstetricians, gynecologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide detailed ultrasound examinations, ensuring accurate results that inform critical medical decisions. Previous OB/GYN Ultrasound Experience is required. Responsibilities Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures with precision, focusing on maternal-fetal medicine and obstetric/gynecological imaging. Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures, ensuring comfort, and maintaining a professional, caring demeanor. Apply advanced sonography techniques to capture high-quality images of internal structures, including fetal development and pelvic organs. Maintain strict aseptic techniques and adhere to infection control protocols during all procedures. Accurately document findings, prepare detailed reports, and communicate results clearly to physicians for further analysis. Monitor equipment functionality regularly, troubleshoot technical issues promptly, and ensure all imaging tools are maintained in optimal condition. Collaborate with medical teams to schedule exams efficiently and prioritize urgent cases such as high-risk pregnancies or emergency diagnostics. Skills Strong knowledge of maternal-fetal medicine principles and obstetric ultrasound practices. Proficiency in anatomy knowledge related to reproductive organs, fetal development stages, and physiology relevant to ultrasound imaging. Excellent understanding of medical terminology used in diagnostic radiology and obstetrics/gynecology contexts. Skilled in sonography techniques, including 2D/3D imaging, Doppler ultrasound, and other advanced imaging modalities. Familiarity with medical imaging equipment operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting processes. Exceptional patient care skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and compassionately. Knowledge of aseptic techniques necessary for safe clinical practice in a healthcare environment.
