Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Vascular Technologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in vascular imaging and diagnostics, with the ability to perform a variety of procedures in a fast-paced clinical environment. This role is crucial for providing high-quality patient care through accurate diagnostic evaluations and effective collaboration with medical staff. Duties Perform comprehensive vascular studies, including:
- Venous insufficiency duplex studies
- Carotid duplex exams
- Aorta and iliac artery duplex exams
- Upper and lower extremity arterial and venous duplex exams
- Post-procedure ultrasound to ensure procedure success and check for DVT or EHIT
- ABI/PVR
- Bypass graft evaluations
- AV fistula ultrasound assessments
- Upper and lower extremity vein mapping
- Assist physicians and provide ultrasound guidance during vascular procedures, including:
- Endovenous Laser Therapy (EVLT)
- Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA)
- VenaSeal™ closure procedures
- Varithena® treatments Requirements Proven experience in a clinical setting.
Maintain sterile techniques during procedures and support physicians in procedural workflows. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to vascular health. Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and emergency medicine protocols. Experience with interventional radiology techniques is highly desirable. Operate and maintain vascular ultrasound equipment, ensuring high-quality imaging and accurate reporting. Document and manage studies using DrChrono EMR and PenVasc vascular reporting software. Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and healthcare professionals. Certification as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or equivalent is preferred.
