Job Description

Category Imaging - Ultrasound General Job Type Contract A skilled and detail-oriented sonographer is needed for a contract opportunity focused on a variety of ultrasound procedures. This position specializes in general, obstetric, and vascular ultrasound imaging, supporting high-quality patient care in a dynamic clinical environment.
Schedule:
12:30 pm - 10:00 pm
Key Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience as an Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer in a clinical healthcare setting Proficiency performing general, OB, and vascular ultrasound studies Current certification in diagnostic medical sonography (ARDMS or equivalent) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to patient confidentiality
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct a range of ultrasound exams, including general, obstetric, and vascular studies, ensuring imaging quality and accurate documentation Prepare patients for procedures and explain processes clearly and compassionately Collaborate with physicians and other clinical staff to provide diagnostic support Maintain and calibrate ultrasound equipment according to protocols Adhere to facility policies, safety standards, and infection control guidelines Manage patient records and ensure documentation is timely and accurate
