$35.00 to $40.00 an hour, based on experience and credentials
Position Overview
Established private OB/GYN practice seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to join a collaborative women's health team serving a growingmunity in Central New York. This opportunity offers a balance of obstetric and gynecologic care, d call responsibilities, advanced in-office technology, and a strong referral base as the only OB group in the county.
Responsibilities of the
Ultrasound Technologist:
- Preparing patients for exams, explaining the procedure, and ensuring they arefortable during what can be a highly emotional or sensitive experience.
- Performing routine growth scans, nuchal translucency tests, and high-risk maternal-fetal imaging to monitor fetal health, check for anomalies, and track amniotic fluid.
- Examining the uterus, ovaries, and fallopian tubes to investigate abnormal bleeding, pelvic masses, or fertility issues.
- Analyzing images, documenting findings, and presenting preliminary reports to the interpreting physician.
- Performs related clerical duties as needed.
Qualifications for the
Ultrasound Technologist:
- Associates degree
- RDRMS preferred
- Must be BLS (Basic Life Support) certified
- 1 - 2 years of experience in OB/GYN setting

Pay Details:
$35.00 to $40.00 per hour
